Ryobi Blower/VAC August 30, 2010 S. Angelo (Sterrett, AL, USA) I bought this Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher to be used as a VAC only. I have another one and use it as a blower...it works fine...but the VAC didn't run well at all. Returned item to CPO. Ran 5 minutes and quit. 2nd day, quit 4-5 times in 5 minutes. Emptied the gas, repacked and shipped back.
A great product August 28, 2010 RSRandy (New Kensington, Pa USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow.
This is the best leaf blower I have ever used. I ordered it Wednesday they delivered it Friday. It looked brand new. I put in the 50-1 mix, pulled it 4-5 times, it started right up and ran perfectly. I started it later with one pull. This is a great blower and a great bargain. It has a one year warranty. If it lasted one year and then you threw it away, it would still be a bargain. It is very well built and I believe it will last for quite a few years. I have purchased many thousands of dollars of products on Amazon but have only written two reviews. On was for my Misubishi Tv, loved it then and love it just as much two years later and now for the Ryobi because I am very impressed with this product and price.

PROUD TO BE BULGARIAN August 23, 2010 yavor1912 (DENVER CO) I bought it one year ago, still starts for a first pull. I use it 1 hour every week. Great product, very powerful. It does a great job. If some day gone I will buy again exactly the same product. Worth every penny !
Questionable Reconditioning August 22, 2010 Goodspike (Seattle, WA USA) I've owned this about two months now, using it at least once a week. So far I'm satisfied with the purchase, but it didn't start out that way.
When I first fueled and started the product, it started fine, but then would quickly die. A little bit of diagnosis indicated that one of the two fuel lines wasn't properly attached--I think the one that pressurizes the tank. After pushing the line on firmly, the product started up and ran fine. I sort of wonder if this is the reason it was returned, and that perhaps they didn't actually fix it. Ignoring that, the product seemed to be in like new condition, but I didn't think to pull the plug to see if it was new.
As to operations, it does take maybe five pulls to start it up after priming it seven pushes and moving a lever to "start." Once it fires up you should hit the trigger to take it off "start" and get the engine to run smoothly. For me it sometimes runs smoothly almost instantly, but at other times it can take maybe 30 seconds for it to get up to full RPMs, but it will idle.
My only other experience with a blower was an electric model, and this is clearly equal to or better than having such a device, unless perhaps you work in a relatively small area where the cord is not such an issue.
