The included electronic, variable-speed 3.7 Amp motor provides variable speeds of 2,500 to 6,000 orbits per minute, making for quick, swirl-free material removal. The right-angled gearing system allows the sander to maintain consistent speeds even when pressed down hard onto the work piece. Even with it's ability to offer fast material removal, the sander gives off relatively little vibration, and the large barrel grip allows users to hold and operate the tool without excessive hand fatigue.
